FLOOD MITIGATION CONTINUES WITH CLEANING OF STREAM

There’s light at the end of the tunnel for farmers impacted by flooding during last November’s torrential rains.

The Agriculture Ministry continues clearing and widening the streamway in the Southwest District to reduce the risk of future flooding events.

Work is currently being carried out in the vicinity of where Radio Lighthouse was located all the way to Christian valley.
