FRENZIED MONTH OF CAMPAIGNING AHEAD AS ELECTION DATE IS ANNOUNCED
Political parties have less than a month remaining on the hustings, culminating in general elections on January 18, 2023.
The date was announced Monday evening by Prime Minister and leader of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party, Gaston Browne, as he launched his party’s campaign for re-election.
Ahead of announcing the date, the Prime Minister praised the performance by his administration during the current term, and derided the slate presented by the main opposition United Progressive Party.
