‘GAME-CHANGING’ SICKLE CELL UNIT BEING ESTABLISHED IN ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA

Patients living with sickle cell disease will soon have access to a dedicated treatment and care unit, in what the Health Ministry says will be a historic move in the country’s healthcare system.

The facility, located on the compound of the Old Holberton Hospital, is expected to open within weeks.
