GIANT LEAP TAKEN IN TACKLING NON-COMMUNICABLE DISEASES

The country is taking a major step toward tackling the incidence of Non-Communicable Diseases, such as diabetes and hypertension.
The STEPS Survey was launched on Tuesday, the result of a partnership among the Health Ministry, Statistics Division and the Pan-American Health Organization.
