Government Engages The Cubans To Assist With Pot Works Dam
The country remains on a path to self sufficiency where water is concerned.
The assurance comes from Prime Minister the Hon. Gaston Browne, who was speaking Tuesday on Liberty Radio.
He says recent efforts to shore up water supply involve the Cubans.
Prime Minister Browne pointed out that since his administration came into power a year ago, it has been making strides in stabilizing the country’s water situation, having already spent millions.
The prime minister says the country must be in a position where it can rely solely on reverse osmosis water.
He notes that with the Stanford facility placed online and a newly purchased plant in English Harbour about to be added next month, the country should be in good standing.
