GOVERNMENT HOLDS TALKS WITH SAUDI FUND FOR DEVELOPMENT ON UWI FIC EXPANSION

The government is reporting progress toward the expansion of the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus.

Education Minister Hon. Daryll Matthew has held fresh talks with the Saudi Fund for Development this week, which is bankrolling the project to the tune of over US$80 million.

The project is being billed as a game-changing investment by the government in developing the country’s human capital.
