GOVERNMENT IN TALKS FOR CAR PARK DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

The Government has resumed discussions for the refurbishment of the Sunshine Hub Car Park have resumed.
Cabinet is considering re-energising the project with new resources to make the space useable, having ordered an examination of the structure.
The top floor is assigned as the future home for Antigua and Barbuda Broadcasting Services, ABS TV/Radio, while other floors will be used to ease parking difficulties in St. John’s.
The Government says monies had previously been set aside, prior to the onset of COVID-19, but were diverted to tackle the pandemic.
