Government Investigates Wadadli Power Plant

The government is to commission an independent investigation into the Chinese-built Wadadli Power Plant to determine, once and for all, whether the engines are new or used.

The facility has been the subject of much controversy since put into operation.

But according to Prime Minister the Hon Gaston Browne, the Chinese government has taken the official position that it will reimburse Antigua & Barbuda if government proves that the engines are used.
