Government New Recruits invited to attend Training Sessions

Implementation Officer of the Leadership through Excellence Award Programme (LEAP) Rachel Collis has extended an open invitation to the government departments to spend their new recruits to its training sessions.

LEAP Awardees spend their Fridays participating in seminars which educate them about the inner working of government.

Collis believes that the sessions would be beneficial to other trainees and young person’s entering the public sector.

LEAP, the brainchild of Minister of Finance, the Economy and Public Administration the Hon. Harold Lovell, targets unemployed college graduates, affording them the chance to gain insight into the public sector.
