GOVERNMENT PREPARED TO PURCHASE DERELICT PROPERTIES AS PART OF NATIONAL CLEAN-UP

Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne has reaffirmed the government’s readiness to purchase abandoned and derelict properties to ensure the thorough cleanup of the country, as the national cleanup campaign begins this month.

He says the properties will not remain as government assets, but will instead be used to provide opportunities for low-income earners.

The head of government was speaking on the Browne and Browne Show over the weekend.
