Government Receives Fresh Support In Its Efforts To Change Land Ownership Arrangements In Barbuda
A former Editor of the Outlet newspaper, Dr. James Knight, says urgent action is required in Barbuda as he is deeply concerned about the state of affairs on the sister island.
Dr. Knight, who was also apart of the committee coordinating relief to the sister island following hurricane Irma, has produced an opinion piece about the issues affecting the sister island.
Speaking on our newscast Tuesday night, Dr. Knight explained that the time for discussion has long past.
Dr. Knight in the opinion piece also wrote that there is no conspiracy to grab Barbuda land.
He expressed the view that the ACLM was always opposed to a sellout of Barbuda land but this was not the case presently.
He says the issue now has to do with ownership by nationals in a unitary state.
