GOVERNMENT REJECTS PAN ASSOCIATION DEMAND

A request from the Pan Association to the government for 100 thousand dollars almost immediately…the government’s response…NO.

The association had received the outstanding payments from last year, but had made the request as an advance payment ahead of this year’s Panorama.

He says the government is committed to meeting its obligations after the carnival celebrations.
Meanwhile, cabinet was also informed about a decision of the pan association regarding the stage arrangements made during last year’s panorama.

Minister Nicholas relayed the assurance from his colleague, Culture Minister the Hon. Daryll Matthew that there will be continued engagement with the association.
