GOVERNMENT RESPONDS TO THREAT TO CIP FROM PROPOSED US LAW

The Government is proposing the establishment of a Citizenship by Investment Programme Regulatory Commission among the Caribbean countries offering such initiatives.
It is one of the responses to legislation tabled in the United States House of Representatives which seeks to penalize countries offering such programmes.
The ‘No Travel for Traffickers Act’ cites concerns of abuse by human traffickers, international criminals, as well as corrupt oligarchs.
