Government to Track State Owned Vehicles

Government is seeking to improve the management and coordination of state owned vehicles with the installation of tracking devices.

The Minister of National Security & Labor the hon. Dr. Errol Cort has said his Ministry is considering a program to better monitor government vehicles

Minister Cort says the devices have the capability to be applied in different ways within the security forces.

Two years ago the Ministry of Telecommunications, Science and Technology successfully integrated the vehicle tracking technology into its fleet of vehicles.

The Government of Saint Lucia has recently launched an Automatic Vehicle Monitoring and Tracking System for government vehicles there.
