GOVERNMENT WELCOMES STUDENTS’ INTEREST IN AGRICULTURE

Hundreds of students turned out at Botanical Gardens on Tuesday for the Inter-schools Gardening Competition Prize-giving, in a promising sign of youth interest in the crucial agriculture sector.

Mill Academy emerged the overall winner among the over two dozen participating schools.

Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne welcomed the turnout, as he amplified calls for an increase in food production.
