GOVERNOR GENERAL’S DEPUTY CELEBRATES 50TH LAW ANNIVERSARY 

October 14, 2025, marks a golden milestone in Antigua and Barbuda’s legal and national history,  the 50th anniversary of the call to the Bar of Sir Clare K. Roberts, KCN, KC. On this date in 1975, Sir Clare was called to the Bar alongside the late His Excellency Conrad Richards, former High Commissioner to Canada.

Over the past five decades, Sir Clare Roberts has become a towering figure in the fields of law, human rights, and public service, admired for his intellect, fairness, and unwavering commitment to justice. His distinguished career spans leadership in government, the judiciary, private practice, and international human rights institutions.
