GRAND OPENING HELD FOR REDEVELOPED DEEP WATER HARBOUR PORT; ANTIGUA POSITIONED AS TRANS-SHIPMENT HUB

The grand opening of the newly-redeveloped cargo port at Deep Water Harbour has been welcomed by key stakeholders as a momentous development for the country’s economy.
Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne there were no cost overruns on the project which ensures Antigua has the only container terminal port in the sub-region.
The facility has also positioned Antigua and Barbuda at the forefront of regional logistics and trans-shipment.
