Hatton Resident To Appear In Court

41 year old Deon Perkins from Union Road, Hatton will appear in court today on a drug charges following a massive cocaine seizure on Wednesday.
The Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy says 286 bricks of Cocaine weighing 741 pounds was seized along the Sir George Walter Highway.
The drug has an estimated wholesale value of 11.8 million Eastern Caribbean dollars.

Perkins has been charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Transfer, Being Concerned with the Supply of Cocaine and Drug Trafficking.
The ONDCP says Perkins had previously been implicated in drug-related offences.
He was arrested and charged In June 2014 by the ONDCP in connection with another cocaine seizure.
