HEALTH MINISTRY REVEALS LATEST FIGURES ON DENGUE FEVER; ASSURES THERE IS NO EPIDEMIC

The Health Ministry says there have been 20 cases of dengue fever so far this year, but this does not constitute an epidemic.
Acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr Teri-Ann Joseph says the 12 cases recorded in September was the highest monthly figure so far this year.
Dr Joseph says the numbers fall within the range of what is expected around this time of the year and says the Ministry has been proactive in ensuring the numbers remain low.
