HEALTH MINISTRY URGES VIGILANCE OVER COVID AND MONKEYPOX AMIDST CARNIVAL FESTIVITIES
The Health Ministry is reminding the public to remain on alert for COVID-19 and monkeypox virus even as carnival festivities intensify.
The Ministry says if you are experiencing symptoms of either disease, you’re advised to avoid attending physical gatherings and follow the advice provided by the health ministry.
Chief Medical Officer Dr Rhonda Sealey Thomas shared the advice during an interview with ABS News on Wednesday.
