HEIGHTENED SECURITY PROTOCOLS FOR CHSS FOLLOWING GUN SCARE

The use of metal detectors is among the heightened security measures being implemented at Clare Hall Secondary School, in response to last Friday’s disruption after a student was allegedly spotted with a gun.

There will also be more trained security personnel deployed at the school.

The measures were agreed following a high-level meeting on Monday, involving Education Ministry officials and senior CHSS staff.
