High Court Dismisses Senator Damani Tabor’s Claim For Constitutional Relief Over His Arrest Last Year

The constitutional motion filed in the courts by United Progressive Party, UPP Senator Damani Tabor has been dismissed in the High Court.
Senator Tabor had been seeking constitutional relief after he was arrested and charged with Making a false statement and Effecting Public mischief in March last year.
The claimant had filed the motion against the Attorney General and the Police Commissioner.
ABS news spoke with Attorney for the defendants, Senior Counsel Anthony Astaphan.

Mr Tabor had said on radio in February last year that half a million dollars had gone missing from the Citizenship by Investment Programme, CIP.
The Senior Counsel who is expecting to receive a copy of the ruling in short order.
He said he is delighted with the ruling.
