HIGH-LEVEL OAS TEAM ARRIVES IN ANTIGUA FOR GENERAL ASSEMBLY PREPARATIONS

Preparations are intensifying for Antigua and Barbuda’s hosting of the 55th General Assembly of the Organisation of American States this June. A high-level team from the OAS Secretariat is now in the island meeting with several local officials and visiting the venues to be used for the hemispheric gathering. OAS Assistant Secretary General, Ambassador Nestor Mendez and Antigua and Barbuda’s Ambassador to the OAS, Sir Ronald Sanders provided an exclusive update to ABS News on Tuesday.
