HIGH-LEVEL UN OFFICIAL IN ANTIGUA AS PREPARATIONS INTENSIFY FOR HOSTING OF 4TH SIDS CONFERENCE

Antigua and Barbuda has welcomed another high level United Nations official, Under-Secretary-General for the Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Li Junhua.
Mr Li is in the country as part of preparations for the single largest global gathering to be hosted in Antigua and Barbuda in just about a year’s time.
Up to 5 thousand delegates are expected to converge in this country for the fourth conference of Small Island Developing States, SIDS.
