HISTORY-MAKING MILITARY COUPLE SPEAK ABOUT INDEPENDENCE PARADE EXPERIENCE

The Ceremonial Parade in celebration of Antigua and Barbuda’s 43rd anniversary of independence was extraordinary for a husband-and-wife team in the Defence Force.

Parade commander Major Troy Lake and his wife and second-in-command, Lieutenant Trish Lake, became the first husband and wife to lead such a parade. 

They spoke to ABS’ Terry Andrew about the milestone.
