Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey extends Commonwealth Day Greetings

In a riveting message, the Commonwealth Secretary-General, Her Excellency Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey has wished Commonwealth Day greetings to the over 2-billion people of the bloc. 

She says although many are questioning if the Commonwealth can deliver stability, fairness, and opportunity, Botchwey is adamant the grouping can still deliver on this year’s celebratory theme ‘Unlocking Opportunities Together for a Prosperous Commonwealth’.

The Commonwealth Secretary General reminds constituents of the 56 sovereign states the Commonwealth was built on partnership, equality, and shared prosperity.  She says the bloc’s shared interest, common values, and joint action are needed now more than ever.
