HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY
NINE PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS COMMENDED FOR HONESTY
There is an old adage that ‘honesty is the best policy’, and nine students of the JT Ambrose Primary School have demonstrated this admirably. The students were commended by the Police High Command this morning after what transpired on the 5th of May this year. The students found a an I-phone and other valuables valued at over XCD$5,000.00 while walking home from school. They then went to the All Saints Police Station and reported it, leading to the items being returned to the owner.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Albert Wade represented Acting Police Commissioner Atlee Rodney at Friday morning‘s event. He praised the students for their upright action and presented them with a gift certificate to purchase supplies next year. They were also commended by their Principal, who urged other children to follow their example of honesty.
Mr Colin James will also make a presentation to the students at the school’s graduation on the 19th of June.
Congratulations to the students!
