Inland Revenue Department Breaks For The New Year

In an effort to facilitate the smooth end of year transfer of information between the Inland Revenue Department, IRD, and the Treasury Department, cashiers will be closed to the public at 12 noon on Wednesday.

That is according to Commissioner of the IRD, Ralph Warner.

To this end, the general public is urged to make their final payments for 2014 before close of business on Wednesday to the Inland Revenue Department.

However, persons wishing to have documents stamped or seeking information can still do so since the other areas at the IRD will be open until 1pm.
