INTENSE DEBATE IN PARLIAMENT OVER LEASE F PRIVATE LANDS IN BARBUDA

Parliament’s Lower House has approved an amendment to the law to clarify that the Government is not entitled to profits from private lease agreements in Barbuda.
The vigorous debate stemmed from a proposal to add three words to the Barbuda Act.
