The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services is closely monitoring the progress of the newest tropical storm of the Atlantic Hurricane Season.
Tropical Storm Erin became the fifth named storm of the season, as it formed on Monday from AL97.
It now has sustained winds of 45 miles per hour.
On its current forecast track, it is expected to pass north of the Leeward Islands, but meteorologist, Orvin Paige, is urging vigilance.
