ITEM FOUND FROM BOAT; STILL NO SIGN OF MISSING FISHERMEN

The Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force Coast Guard has confirmed the discovery of the fuel bottle from the boat which has gone missing with fishermen Lester Small and Leon Sears. Lieutenant Commander Elroy Skerrit, the head of the Coast Guard has confirmed a fisherman found the item about 10 miles offshore Boons Point, Antigua on Sunday. However, Commander Skerrit says there has been no sign of the fishermen or the rest of the boat. Members of the Coast Guard, who had hitherto suspended the search for the men pending new leads, combed the area in search of additional items, but to no avail. More during the ABS Evening News at 7.
