JAMAICA’S SHERICKA JACKSON RUNS WORLD-LEADING 10.65 OVER 100M

Jamaica’s sprinting sensation Shericka Jackson won the 100 meters at the national championships in Kingston Friday night, in a new personal best and world leading 10.65 seconds.
She decimated the field which included injury-plagued double-double Olympic champion, Elaine Thompson Herah.
Jackson got a fantastic start and blew away the field with imperious top-end speed.
Shashalee Forbes finished second in a personal best 10.96 seconds, with Natasha Morrison third in a season best 10.98.
Briana williams was fourth in 11.01 seconds and Thompson Herah fifth in 11.06.
