John Speaks Out on Haitian Students’ Expulsion
Louise John Project Leader Education Foundation Haiti Project has spoken out about an article featured in the Tuesday’s edition of the Daily Observer dubbed “Expelled Haitian Duo gagged.”
The story claims that two Haitian students, studying on CHTA Education Foundation scholarships have reportedly been forced to keep silent after having their scholarships terminated and being sent home on Sunday.
According to the article, Pastor Gerald La Fleur, Head of the Friends of Haiti group,said that the students were made to sign a document, which warned they would be pursued for US $10,000 if they spoke to any media or authorities.
