JOLLY BEACH HOTEL TO WELCOME GUESTS BY NOVEMEBR THIS YEAR

Government says at least 200 rooms of the Jolly Beach Resort will be open for guests in November this year.
It is to be operated by Elite Island Resorts in the interim.
Information Minister Hon. Melford Nicholas says the decision has been taken to stem the tide of lost revenues even as the country has entered the traditional slow tourist season.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne has labelled a US$15M charge against the property as inappropriate.
He says the government has initiated legal action to have it lifted.
