Shockwaves continue to reverberate around the region and the world following the assassination of Haiti’s President, Jovenel Moise…
The 53 year old was assassinated by a group of armed men at his private residence about 1 this morning.
The first lady, Martine was also seriously injured in the attack and has been airlifted to Florida in the United States.
The incident has compounded the problems for an already beleaguered Haiti, the poorest country in the Americas.
It became the first French-speaking Caribbean State to become a full Member of CARICOM in 2002.
