LADY WILLIAMS REVEALS SHE IS RECOVERING FROM SPINAL SURGERY

Sandra Lady Williams, wife of Governor General Sir Rodney Williams, has undergone spinal surgery and is currently recovering.

Lady Williams shared the news via a Facebook post on Thursday.

The announcement of her road to recovery was met with overwhelming concern and well-wishes locally, regionally and internationally, given her prominent role as a philanthropist and public figure.

Lady Williams encourages everyone to take their health care seriously, noting, “one will always face difficulty, but it is not the end of the line.”

Her excellency says despite her illness, her humanitarian and philanthropic efforts will continue through the Halo Foundation which started a decade ago.

She is the founder and president of the Foundation and has been instrumental in supporting various charitable causes.
