Lakeea Allen Is Inaugural BOE’s Eustace Hill STEM Scholar

The Board of Education today officially launches the Eustace Hill STEM Scholarship a tribute to one of Antigua and Barbuda’s great education pioneers, the late Eustace Hill.

The scholarship supports Antiguan and Barbudan students pursuing degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

The first-ever recipient is Lakeea Allen, who’s currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Derby in the UK.

She hopes to use her studies to advance renewable energy and sustainability across Antigua & Barbuda.
