LAW COMING TO ADDRESS ABANDONMENT OF ELDERLY IN STATE FACILITIES

Legislation is to be drafted to address the practice by some individuals to abandon their elderly relatives in the hospital and other state facilities.

Social Transformation Minister, Hon. Sir Molwyn Joseph has reaffirmed the Government’s intention, insisting the nation’s vulnerable citizens must be protected.
