LEGAL DISPUTE WILL NOT HALT ROADWORKS

The construction company contracted to rebuild Friar’s Hill Road and Sir George Walter Highway says it will continue to work despite an ongoing legal dispute with the government.
On Monday, Project Manager Sean Geiser told ABS he couldn’t comment much on the matter, but confirmed no resolution has been reached between the parties.

Geiser says a portion of Friar’s Hill Road is scheduled to be paved this week. He assures the roadwork will continue unless his team is ordered to stop.
