LEGISLATORS PRAISE SIR GERALD WATT AS HE RESIGNS FROM SPEAKERSHIP

Lawmakers in Parliament’s Lower House paid glowing tribute to Sir Gerald Watt KC for his sterling contribution to the country’s Parliamentary democracy.

They were speaking during Monday’s sitting where Sir Gerald resigned for personal reasons, after serving in the post for over a decade.
