LIAT Temporarily Suspends Flights To Santo Domingo
Regional carrier LIAT has temporarily suspended its route between Antigua and Santo Domingo because of operational reasons.
However, flights are expected to resume by the end of March next year.
This is according to LIAT’s CEO David Evans who spoke with ABS News on the issue of the regional carrier’s inability to continue its operations to the Spanish speaking country.
Evans explains that it is an operational decision to suspend flights from Antigua to Santo Domingo.
The airline’s CEO adds that there are other alternatives such as connections through St. Martin and Puerto Rico. He also notes that refunds will be available for customers, where applicable.
