LIST OF HURRICANE SEASON NAMES 2020

Today makes its exactly 99 days before the start of the annual Atlantic hurricane season and the National Hurricane Center has released the names of the storms for the 2020 season.
Director of the National Office of Disaster Services Philmore Mullin says it’s never too early to begin preparing as 2019 saw the first named storm of the season formed way ahead of the June 1st start date.

Mullin says as part of preparations, NODS is mandated to create training opportunities for anyone who wishes to volunteer for disaster relief services.

He says training begins next month for interested persons.
