LISTEN: SENATOR FABIAN JONES SPEAKS WITH ABS AFTER BEING ROBBED AT GUNPOINT
Senator Fabian Jones is shaken, but unhurt, after being robbed at gunpoint at Point Wharf on Thursday morning.
The senator told ABS News he had just exited a vessel from Barbuda, when he was accosted by a masked man.
He estimates over XCD$10,000 was inside the bag robbed from him during the struggle with the armed assailant.
Senator Jones explains he was given money by various Barbudans to conduct business on the mainland on their behalf. He tells ABS what happened as he approached his vehicle to place his bags inside.
