MAJOR DONATION MADE TO HAPI INITIATIVE FOLLOWING SIDS4 CONFERENCE

Construction materials, valued at some XCD$30,000.00, have been donated to the Home Advancement Programme for the Indigent, (HAPI) initiative. The materials, which were used during the recent fourth Conference on Small Island Developing States, were donated by the Foreign Ministry to the administration’s signature social housing programme. The donation has been welcomed by HAPI’s coordinator, Inspector Veldon Ragguette, and are expected to bolster the HAPI initiative’s assistance to the nation’s most vulnerable.

HAPI has so far improved housing for several residents who had been living in dilapidated dwellings.
