MAN HOSPITALISED FOLLOWING SHOOTING IN POTTERS

A 26 year old man is now in critical condition in hospital following a shooting in Potters Thursday night. Police are probing reports that the man was among a group of people in the area, when a car drove up about 9:06pm. Two men alighted from the vehicle and opened fire, resulting in people scurrying for cover. The 26 year old man was shot in the abdomen, while another bullet grazed him in the face. The gunmen then sped off in the vehicle.

The man was rushed to hospital where he continues to undergo treatment. A motive for the gun attack has not yet been ascertained.
