Manufacturing IV fluids

Additional details have emerged about government’s pending deal with a producer of medical supplies.
Minister of Health the Hon. Molwyn Joseph says the company manufactures IV fluids.

Meantime Minister Joseph revealed plans to purchase radiology equipment including a brand new MRI scanner, a CT scanner, an ultra sound scanner and a digital mammography unit.

He says Cabinet has approved the purchase of these machines, which are expected on island and to be installed at Mount St John’s Medical Centre within the next six months.
