Marine Biologist Fears Barbuda’s Development May be Hampered due to the Effects of Climate Change
The world over has been grappling with the effects of climate change but closer to home the sister isle of Barbuda is one of the most prone areas in the region.
This view is according to Marine Biologist and Educator John Mussington.
The sister isle’s vulnerability to the effects of climate change stems from certain factors, which Mussington explains.
The development and the expansion of the sister isle’s tourism product may be at risk especially in coastal areas around the country.
The educator admits that climate change is not a new development and solutions can be derived to adapt to the effects.
Mussington adds that man has fueld these effects of climate change and explains that policies must be implemented to adapt to Climate change.
