Max On Budget

Come January, the general public will get a chance to hear government’s fiscal plans for the next year.

Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister, Lionel Max Hurst, says on December 22nd Cabinet will host its final meeting for 2014.

Hurst continued that Governor General Sir Rodney Williams will deliver the annual Throne Speech on January 8th.

Meanwhile Hurst says the Inland Revenue Department, over the past two months, has seen an increase of 8% in revenue collection.

The chief of staff believes the increase shows a level of commitment by various investors and 2015 looks promising for the twin island nation.
