MEDICAL CHIEF SPEAKS ON ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION

Dr Sealey Thomas is concerned about the over-consumption of alcohol during the pre-carnival season.
She commended promoters who have urged patrons not to drink and drive.
However, she wants everyone to understand the perils of over-indulgence.

The Chief Medical Chief cautions that having a designated driver is not a license to over-consume alcohol.

She is urging everyone to be responsible at all times especially when playing mas in the sun for extended periods.
She says less alcohol and more water is crucial on the road for the carnival season.
