Members of Parliament pay Tribute to Sir. Adolphus Freeland

Members of Parliament on Monday paid tribute to Sir Adolphus Freeland, a long serving Antigua Labour Party (ALP) minister and former St. George’s MP.

Sir Adolphus, 79, died at the Mount St John’s Medical Centre (MSJMC) at 5:10am Saturday after a brief period of illness.

Describing the former MP as a consummate statesman, sportsman and trade unionist, Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Baldwin Spencer announced that he will be accorded an official funeral.
